We are thankful that the Lord is continuing to bless the Library Ministry. We checked out 61 books in the month of September. We had the pleasure of meeting with a Grandmother and her 3 year old Granddauther in the Library. The 3 year old had never been in a Library and she was so excited. It was a blessing to introduce a child to a Library and especially a Church Library. Please pray that we will have more experiences like this.

ART CONTEST:
The art contest has once again been postponed. We are now planning for the month of November.

DVD SECTION:
Now that the days are getting shorter, check out the DVD Section in the Library. There are great DVDs on the shelf.

If you would like to volunteer in the Library please contact a member of the Advisory Board.

July 2009

The Lord has blessed our Library Ministry in July!! We checked out 75 books and had donations of books and DVDs! If you made a donation to the Library we would like to thank you. We are anticipating an expansion of the Library space in the future. We will always accept donations for the Library. Our 5-year goal is to have 2,500+ items in the Library. Presently, we have approximately 1,000 items. We invite and urge the COMMUNITY to use the Library. Please tell your friends and neighbors that we are open and in operation.

Reading Contest follow-up: *Pictures*
We had 6 children between the ages of 4-12 register for the July Reading Contest. We will present Awards immediately following Church services on August 9, 2009.

ART Contest:
We are planning an Art Contest for the month of September, 2009. We will announce the details in our August, 2009 Newsleter.

THANK YOU: To everyone who has visited the Library and to those of you who have Volunteered to help us. We welcome any and all suggestions for what you have to enhance this Ministry.

June 2009
The Lord has blessed our Library in the month of June! We have checked out 31 books and have had donations of approximately 600 books. We would like to thank you if you donated books. RECYCLE YOUR BOOKS. DONATE TO YOUR LIBRARY. We have a book for Everyone!! We have Religious Fiction, Religious Novels, Study Books, Relationships, Inspiration, Self-Help, Wit/Wisdom, Biographies/Autobiographies, Children's Books up to 4 years, 4-8 yeras and 9-12 years.

READING CONTEST: July 5, 2009 - August 2, 2009 for kids AGES: 4-8 and 9-12 years old.

July, 2009 will be an exciting month for our Kids. We are sponsoring a READING CONTEST.

Requirements:
4-8 year old kids will be required to read or be read at least 5, age appropriate books and books they have not read before.
9-12 year old kids will be required to read or be read at least 5, age appropriate books or adult books with at least 70 pages each and books they have not read before.

REGISTRATION will be held after Church on July 5, 2008 in the Library. AWARDS will be presented on August 9, 2009.
OPEN TO ANY CHILD IN THE COMMUNITY!

COMING ATTRACTIONS:
July 5, 2009 DVDs!!! We have a great selection of Family Friendly DVDs! DVDs will be checked out for a one Week period.
