I wanted to share something that happened to me yesterday when I was in
town. I pulled into Wendy's for a quick lunch for me and may daughter.
It was lunchtime and there was a long row of cars for the drive-through.
I waited my turn and when I got to order my food the girl taking my order
sounded a little frustrated and stressed. So, something told me to get
the exact amount of money to give to her. I usually don't do that....I
just give dollars and throw the change in my purse. Well, I got up to
her, handed her my money, and she looked amazed and said, "Did you
count out the exact amount". I said, "Yes, with a smile".
She looked so happy and said, "Finally someone gives me a break,
thank you"! Sometimes it's the small things that really make a difference
in some-body's day. Especially during this very busy shopping time please
just take the effort to just be kind to the people working in the stores
and restaurants. We are a witness of Christ everywhere we go.
I was so pleased with her response when I got to the child consignment
shop I helped the woman open up her store by putting strollers and things
outside. Remember it's the giving season! Thanks for reading....now go
make some-body's day!
