The Youth Group took donations and brought in their own funds to help
pay for backpacks that will be given to homeless school students in Pennsylvania.

Our Youth Group the Halos are joining together with www.wordfm.com and
Feed the Children
want to provide Backpacks to the Homeless Students in Western PA. Right
now there are over 55,000 student age kids that are homeless right here
in Pennsylvania.

Homeless boys and girls sit in desks right next to children who have
what they only dream of having: a home, a room, a sense of security. And
a homeless child needs the same school supplies as his classmates, but
his parents cannot afford supplies, much less a backpack.
We need your help to prepare homeless children for school this month.
It costs just $18 to help provide a backpack full of school supplies --
along with food, snacks, and personal care items.
Because of the economy there are more children needing help this year
than ever before,

Every year, homeless children go back to school with no school supplies
or backpacks. When families cannot afford these items, the child's chances
for learning are severely hindered. Together with Feed The Children, you

year ready to learn and prepared for a better future.
